SongTool, the advanced audio player for iOS, has been updated to version 1.2.0. The new version brings expanded queue management capabilities, a repeat-song option, and some minor bug fixes.
The reworked Song Listing section gives users the ability to add, remove, and rearrange songs in SongTool’s queue. Additionally, the queue contents will remain available across restarts of the app. To reflect its increased functionality, the Song Listing section has been moved to its own area of the user interface. Previously, the Song Listing was available by swiping on the album art. After this update, the Song Listing is accessed by pressing the ‘Songs’ button on the bottom toolbar. This means that users can manage SongTool’s queue from anywhere in the app with just one button press.
In response to requests from several users, SongTool now has a ‘Repeat’ button in the bottom toolbar. Pressing this button will cause the current song to begin again when the end of the song is reached. Note that, in Repeat mode, pressing the Forward button will still move to the next song.
SongTool 1.2.0 also addresses a few stability issues, as well as updates to bring it in line with the current iOS version.
SongTool can be purchased for $3.99 in the App Store.
